Superstar 3 and Sumber Samudera 03 are shipping coal which has been operating in domestic waters. One of the services provided by PT Sumber Karya Samudera is providing large and heavy shipping services using ships.The commodities transported are commodities that are suitable for client’s wishes. Ships are also equipped with GPS, so customers and companies can track the location of the ship. One of the many commodities transported is coal.

The Launching Ceremony Of Sumber Samudera 03

On January 16, 2021 PT Pelayaran Sumber Karya Samudera had launching ceremony of “Sumber Samudera 03”. The launching ceremony took place in Batam at BBS.

The launch of a ship is celebrated with great pomp and splendour. It is one of the most important milestones in the lifecycle of a ship and the launch itself is carried out ceremoniously while upholding traditions and amongst a crowd of owners, manufacturers and well wishers.

The ship naming and launching ceremony had a meaning where it had brought good fortune and safety to the new ship, its crew, and passengers.

on March 3, 2020 PT Pelayaran Sumber Karya Samudera had launching ceremony of “Sumber Samudera 02”. The launching ceremony took place in Batam at BBS.

A launching ceremony is the formal custom that celebrates a boat being transferred from land to water for the first time. It is an important naval tradition that’s both a public celebration and a way of blessing the ship and its crew in an attempt to bring it good fortune on its voyages.

What We Do

Product Service

Coal

Coal is rock formed from the decomposition of dead and sedimentated plants. Coal is also used as a source of energy for daily life. Coal trading management at SSGROUP is managed by PT SEDAYA MAKMUR.

In coal trading, there are 3 terms that become the standard or reference for caloric value, there are GAD, GAR, and NAR. The coal price reference calorific value used by PT SEDAYA MAKMUR is GAR. The coal provided by PT SEDAYA MAKMUR is coal with a calorific value of 4200 to 6000 GAR.

Sedaya Makmur also carries out procedures to detect whether the coal has reached the standard or not (Quality Control and Quality Assurance).

Nickel

Nickel is a white hard metal that is widely used as a material for the metal industry sector, such as for making stainless steel, alloys in steel, making wire and other things.

The nickel trading management at SSGROUP is managed by PT SUMBER MINERAL PRATAMA. The nickel provided by PT Sumber Mineral Pratama has a Ni concentrate of 1.6 to 2%.

Sumber Mineral Pratama also carries out procedures to detect whether the nickel has reached the standard or not (Quality Control and Quality Assurance).

Shipping

Provide shipping services for large and heavy goods using ships. Shipping management is managed by PT Pelayaran Sumber Karya Samudera.

The available ships have 2 types of barge sizes, the 300 FT Barge and the 270 FT Barge. Barge is a type of ship that has a flat hull shape, this ship is usually used to transport goods with large and heavy capacities. The services are one-time services or commonly referred to as fright charters and services with a certain duration (1 month, 1 year, etc.) or commonly referred to as time charters.

The commodities that are transported, are in accordance with the demands of the client and the ship is also equipped with GPS, so that customers and companies can track the location of the ship.
